Growing up in a small town in North Carolina, Tonya  always had a knack for styling hair and doing make up. She trained at one of the top schools in Charlotte and Italy, as well as assisted on many fashion shows and photo shoots. Now behind her own chair, Tonya has created looks for numerous  print campaigns, commercials, and has worked building her business here in the Charlotte area. Inspired by music, art, people, and fashion, Tonya's ever-evolving style provides her clients access to all of the emerging trends.  Tonya  is a stickler for perfection and delivers a unique panache for women, men, and even kids’ hair. Whether it's an edgy bob, sexy layers, or a fabuous blowout, Tonya  is committed to making your hair a versatile accessory, day and night.

 

When creating the salon, Tonya wanted to emphasize
comfort with luxurious touches. " I  really wanted to create an
atmosphere where  anyone can come to relax and feel comfortable while having their hair done. It was also important for
me to have my own space  to create the next best version of you."  With its
diverse clientele, Bijou is a new concept salon that
exceeds the atypical "salon scene."
